OpenCompany is an agent hive mind that works as one team with shared goals. Pick a template and launch a VC fund, law firm, or other org on your laptop.
The Hook
“Everyone is trying to get to AGI. AI labs are building bigger data centers, smarter models, and betting that enough raw compute will get us closer to AGI. There was a recent security incident with OpenAI agents, where a swarm of uncensored agents broke into Hugging Face to try and cheat on a test. And that blew my mind. It was not the break-in that was interesting to me. It was something else. Agents that were meant to work alone found a way to talk to each other, share what they know, and work together as a group. They started to behave like one larger mind, and that was fascinating.”
Problem Agitation
“Ants follow really simple signals and share information. But when they do it at a massive scale, intelligent behavior somehow emerges. Which is why ants are one of the most successful species on our planet. So I began wondering, what if we stopped trying to build a more powerful agent, but instead built a group of agents, a team of agents, that could think, remember, and work like a hive mind to solve problems together?”
Product Reveal
“That's why I'm excited to talk about OpenCompany. It's our attempt at building upon this idea, which is to have an agent hive mind working toward a common goal in a completely open-source fashion. And this is more than just an idea. In our tests, OpenCompany solved incredibly difficult math problems at a fraction of the cost of a frontier model.”
Feature Teaser
“For us, this was early proof that low-cost agents, working together at a massive scale, can deliver far greater intelligence. Which is why I'm excited to share that OpenCompany is now available in early alpha. And we're inviting people to try out the idea with us.”
Synthesizable in Remotion · key components of the ai-agent-hive-mind-launch template.
Abstract nodes connected by glowing lines, with a central pulsating light source. Lines dynamically form and dissolve, indicating data flow and communication.
Use Remotion's <AbsoluteFill> with SVG paths for lines and <Circle> components for nodes. Animate stroke-dasharray and stroke-dashoffset for line drawing, and use a <Spring> for node scaling and opacity. Apply a CSS filter for glow effects.
Macro footage of ants moving, leaving behind a subtle, glowing trail. Trails converge and diverge, illustrating complex pathfinding and collective behavior.
Overlay video footage with a Canvas component. Use 2D drawing contexts to render glowing lines that follow detected ant movements or pre-defined paths. Animate line opacity and width over time.
Desktop UI elements animate into view, with lines connecting different sections or nodes, simulating data or task flow. Text and buttons appear with subtle spring animations.
Utilize Remotion's <Sequence> and <AbsoluteFill> for scene composition. Animate UI elements (e.g., <Text>, <Button>, <Rect>) using <interpolate> for position and opacity, and <Spring> for bounce effects. SVG lines can be drawn with animated stroke properties to show connections.
Purpose. Establish the current state of AI development and a critical incident, setting up the problem OpenCompany aims to solve.
Execution. Rapid cuts between large-scale data centers, news headlines about AI incidents, and the presenter's initial reaction, creating a sense of urgency and intrigue.
Purpose. Introduce the core concept of swarm intelligence through a relatable natural analogy (ants), making the complex AI idea accessible.
Execution. Macro footage of ants, animated glowing trails, and abstract network graphics, visually connecting natural phenomena to AI principles.
Purpose. Unveil OpenCompany as the innovative solution, demonstrating its functionality and proven capabilities.
Execution. Dynamic UI screen recordings, data visualizations of problem-solving, and a clear presentation of the product's open-source nature and early success.
Purpose. Announce product availability and invite users to participate, reinforcing the open-source, collaborative vision.
Execution. Presenter directly addressing the audience, followed by a clear display of the product download page and key calls to action like 'Early Alpha' and 'Open Source'.
Objective
Launch a new decentralized finance protocol called 'NexusFlow' that enables seamless, secure, and efficient cross-chain asset exchange. How the recipe adapts
The video would open with a problem statement about the fragmentation and inefficiency of traditional finance, using visuals of disconnected financial systems. This would transition to an analogy of water flowing through a complex, self-organizing river system, representing the decentralized nature of NexusFlow. The product reveal would showcase NexusFlow's UI with glowing lines illustrating asset flow and liquidity pooling across different blockchain networks. The call to action would invite users to join the early access program, maintaining the fast-paced editing, glowing network effects, and clear presenter segments to convey both technical depth and accessibility.Scene durations (5 scenes, 102s)
