This Privacy Policy describes how Animatiq ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our AI motion-design service.

By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Account information: email address and login details, handled by Clerk.

Submitted content: prompts, briefs, product URLs, screenshots, recordings, brand assets, and any files you upload to generate or edit a video.

Generated content: storyboards, project files, and rendered video output associated with your projects.

Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interactions with the editor.

Device information: IP address, browser type, and device identifiers collected automatically.

Animatiq does not use your prompts, uploads, or project content to train AI models.

Third-party AI providers process your inputs solely to generate the storyboard, code, or video output you requested, under contractual terms that prohibit using your data for training unless explicitly disclosed.

Your brand assets and project content are never shared with other users or used to improve public AI models.

You retain full ownership of content you upload and of the videos, storyboards, and code Animatiq generates for you.

Animatiq receives a limited license solely to process your content in order to provide the Service — render your video, store your project, and let you resume and edit it later.

With service providers: infrastructure and processing partners — including Clerk for authentication, AI model providers for generation, and AWS for file storage and video rendering — under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or share your project content with other users.

For legal reasons: when required by law or a valid request from a public authority.

We retain project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

If you delete a project or your account, associated files and generated video assets are removed from active storage; some data may be retained longer where required for legal or audit purposes before anonymization or deletion.

Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Rectification: request correction of inaccurate information.

Erasure: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations.

Portability: receive your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format.

Your information may be processed and stored on servers outside your country of residence, including in the United States and India, where our service providers operate.

We take appropriate safeguards to keep your data protected under applicable privacy laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Changes take effect when posted here, with an updated "Last updated" date.
