Mac app
The animatiQ app for your Mac.
The desktop app keeps each project as a folder on your Mac. The agent runs locally with Claude Code, renders happen on your machine, and hosted tools use your animatiQ account.

What you can do in Desktop
Projects are folders on your Mac
Each project is a plain folder in Documents/Animatiq. A folder opened from somewhere else is copied in, so the files stay where you can reach them.
Claude Code runs the agent
The app uses its own pinned copy of Claude Code, kept apart from your personal Claude Code settings and connectors.
Renders on your machine
Exports run in a separate process from the preview stills, so a long export does not hold up the preview.
Versions in the project folder
Each change is saved as a commit in the project's own git history. Restoring a version adds a new commit, and past history is never rewritten.
Sign in once, revoke anytime
Connect the app from your animatiQ account on the web. The key is kept encrypted with the system keychain, and you can revoke it from your API keys to sign the app out.
Make your first cut.
Bring a brief. Keep the project.
